How you behave in a game is a reflection of how you would behave in RL if there were no laws to punish or stop you behaving that way.

They might be pixels but so are the pixels on a World Cup Scoreboard. Why don't you go to a world cup game maybe in Brazil, and interfere with a goal, then explain to the crowd its only pixels on that scoreboard....

Or go down the pub and mess up someones pool game and explain to them its just balls on the table and not that important.

If you're still alive come back here and report what you experienced. People play games as a form of entertainment and as a form of hobbying. Many take their games and hobbies very seriously. The former suggestion above will likely get you killed, literally and the latter maybe just bashed.

While in your own mind you might try to excuse your poor behaviour by dismissing the value of X because you feel X is unimportant, your perception is your own and you do not speak for the rest of humanity in regards to the value of X be it EvE, soccer, pool or otherwise.

Yeah, this is a thing that predominantly occurs in your delusional little mind, and is only very rarely (as a percentage of total ganks) witnessed in game.

Seems a bit odd, but every time CODE has ganked a miner in systems I have operated in they always post something about CODE being in charge or hisec and that they need to get a permit, then drop in the KM's which is a taunt. I find it amusing...

EDIT: Another carefully worded insult above, calling a miner a bot aspirant is meant to wind them up, me I just laugh, but for some miners who hate bots they get rather irritated. Like I said CODE have got this wind up approach down to a fine art, but its still taunting...

I'd always thought that CODE. were either

a) made up of Goons themselves, bored of having-it-all in null, or

b) Goon-wannabes who had been scammed out of a billion or two trying to join them, so decided to form their own corp instead.

Thirdly, now that CCP are teetering on going into receivership, even the hardiest of HTFU devs is shitting bricks about losing their job, hence semi-F2P (about to go full F2P when the first 'model' fails, I'm guessing say March?) the ONLY consideration on CCP's minds is getting new players into the game - which means they have to not insta-quit.

The difference being that someone being bad at the game doesn't necessarily make them bad at everything in life. I suck at playing certain games. But I'm considered to be a pretty decent engineer. Being a **** on any scale or venue makes you a ****, period. But it's good to see that on your stumbling way down in this argument you have at least acknowledged what the rest of us have known like, forever.
